I graduated in 1982. I took 2 years of General Metals(Tool and Die) under Mr. William "Pug" McGuire. I rec'd my engineering degree and have a EMBA and I credit Pug for his guidance. If you were willing to work in his class, he worked with you and allowed you to rise as high as you could in his class. He just expected you to live up to your part of the bargain as a student. We were to learn and work in his class. Of course at the time I was there, it was before guidance counselors started shoving students that had no business operating machinery in the first place in his class. PUG is a Super guy! I owe him still to this day for the time he took to show interest in me and what I could be.
Others: Reeder Martin, Randa Ragan, Nawasa Jonas, Sarah McKnight, Mrs. Keeling(Pierce), Mr. Cupples, Mr. Eller.
I graduated 11th in my class with honors. Majored in Math,Science,Foreign Language, etc.
As a retired teacher, I agree with most all the responses. DHS has had some fantastic teacers. Go Trojans and live forever.

Maybe I should just ask everybody their favorite teachers and forget the story. What do you think?
