    In your article you stated, "In 2011, the National Sales Executive Association reported that 80 percent of sales are made between the 5th and 12th contact with a prospect."

    It is interesting you are able to state the date of a report produced by an organization that apparently does not exist (go ahead, google "National Sales Executive Association"). I think you'll find what I and others have found: nothing.

    I don't know who first stated those "facts," but these stats are all over the web, being quoted as if they were indeed research based. They are not. Look, I've been taken in by such statements hook, line, and sinker, too, but I've learned to check my facts before offering them for publication.

    It reminds me of a quote attributed to numerous people (Churchill, Twain, Disraeli) but whose source is not known: "A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on."
