Teacher!
Happy Easter students! We are still partying for Easter. Today's readings really "slapped" as my daughter would say. Today was the day Mary Magdalene went to the grave site and Jesus was gone. There were two angels there. They were saying, "Why are you weeping?" Then this strange Gardener guy came up and asked, "Why are you weeping?" When Mary looks closely at the Gardener guy and hears him say Mary she realizes who he is. She shouts, "Teacher!" Just like you back row students when you see me coming down the hall to class!
Jesus appears many times to many people. They don't seem to recognize him at first. My daughter and I were talking about this and it seems strange that these people followed him around but yet could not recognize him. I told her that I think he still does this. He still appears to us and in people around us. We are called to see the Risen Christ in everyone that we meet. I believe this. I explained to her that when your heart tugs and urges you to speak to a person or help a person that person was either sent by Jesus or is Jesus. So here we are Easter 2019 and we still get glimpses Jesus if we choose to really see them. I know you think that I have fallen out of my scoot and bumped my head. I have taken a lot of hard licks to the head in my lifetime, but joking aside I think this is part of our Earth walk. It's part of our purpose to be Jesus and to see Jesus. That's your homework. So get out there and get busy. Open your eyes and your heart.

What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you.
