Just Add Chocolate

I am not really what you would call an "early adopter." That is, one who buys the newest gadget as soon as it hits the shelf. This is partly because I try to cooly evaluate those things and see how they work in the real world before committing myself, but mostly because they cost more when they first come out, and I'm usually broke.

However, Stefan Magdalinski has struck upon a way to present new technology which I might be helpless to resist. In doing so, he also puts all us husbands pretty much in the dust when it comes to devising spousal birthday presents.

He got his wife a chocolate-covered iPad.

If this catches on (and I hope it does), pretty soon all consumer electronics will be covered in chocolate. And that will be it for me. The only question will be whether to get my smartphone with or without peanuts.
