Commissioner of Agriculture to Visit

Hey guys, this will be the first time in a long time we have had the Commissioner of Agriculture to visit North West Tennessee for 2-days. I am going to give him the grand tour! I will be honored to have Julius Johnson attend several events with me later this week. Everyone is invited to have cat-fish with us at Reelfoot Lake Lakeview Dining room at 7:00 p.m. this Thursday (Dutch treat).

Then on Friday, we will have breakfast at Union City Farm Bureau. Right after breakfast we are touring Williams Sausage. Roger is expanding his operation and I wanted Commissioner Johnson to see the success of a local "home-grown" family business. Finally, at noon Commissioner Johnson is going to speak at the Union City Rotary club.

I am setting up this visit and up-coming visits to allow the people of Obion, Dyer and Lake Counties to visit and become familiar with our commissioners and Constitutional officers. I want everyone to feel like they are a part of our State government.
