Cuban and the Cubs

I read, recently, that Mark Cuban may become the owner of the Chicago Cubs. This may be what baseball really needs. Don't get me wrong, I am not a Cuban fan but he does make things interesting and the existing owners, around the league, are not very entertaining. Why not bring some excitment to the game from the front office? The thing I like about him is that he is his own man and he likes to rock the boat. If you think Bud Selig looks like he was weaned on a pickle now just think how puckered he will be when Cuban bucks the system. I may be talking out of both sides now but I do worry that his antics could take away from integrity of the game. I am a purist but the game does need some fresh faces. The steroid scandel has taken away from the game and something or someone needs to bring some enthusiasm to the game. Maybe we could finally see an owner run on the field and kick dirt on the umpire. That would be interesting at least. Hopefully, someone can buy the team and put them over the top. Lord knows they deserve to have some success and it would be nice to see them finally put some old ghosts to sleep forever.
