Giving props to Tiger

I have to give Tiger alot of credit for the way he goes about his profession. Although, I don't care for the language he uses within microphone shot, he is one professional that refuses to let the rest of his sport catch up with him. I do feel he could be more of a role model for young people in the language department. On several occassions I have been watching with my daughter and Woods will let a few expletives go and I have to explain to her that not all professionals talk like that. Tiger does a lot of good things for young people and lots more that we probably never hear of. He spends millions on charities and is very involved in the First Tee program. I think he works harder than any professional, in any sport and is probably the most talented in athletics today. He has made Golf into a more "athletic" sport and forced everyone around him to work harder. In no other sport have I seen that happen, to the extent he has done in Golf. Maybe, when his child gets old enough to understand those words, he will cut back on the tirades. I hope so because he may go down as the greatest athlete of our time and I want to remember him in a totally positive light.

Steve I know we both play golf and the game is so tough that those words sometimes slip out. All the other golfers do the same things but due to the tv time Tiger gets his ar heard more. I have even heard Phil talk in a way that you are talking about. If the camera man would give him some space and not stick the microphone up his butt it would be cleaner.
Football players say 'em.
Basketball players say 'em.
Just put a delay on the coverage, so you can bleep it out.. simple fix.
regarding the recent 'lynch' comment, Tiger was very professional about resolving the matter directly with the reporter and then stating it was done. I think he handled it real well by attempting to keep it low key.
