I can see it now. The final four being played in front of 30,000 rabid fans and they are all cheering for their favorite team and they are watching the game through a fence or chicken wire or maybe even glass. Just like the wire that protects the band at a local Honky Tonk. This will be to protect the players, coaches, and officials from getting nailed by a projectile thrown from the stands. It is ridiculous that the human race has been reduced to the animalistic ways of showing your support buy hurling objects and profanities at the opposing teams. It has gotten to the point where I dont want to take my daughter to sporting events because of the language and the threat of a riot. If you ask someone to please stop using foul language they look at you like you are from outer space. It is a shame that our culture has come to the point that they cannot handle a player choosing another school and show that dissappointment buy throwing things and leaving death threats on their cell phones. This happened, to the post player Love from UCLA, when they played at Oregon. He chose UCLA over Oregon even though his dad was one of the greats from Oregon. This is sad and I worry about the future of sports and when or if someone is going to get seriously harmed from this type of behavior. I know there have been instances where there have been players hit before but it is getting worse. I hope that we can find a solution.

Exactly the point I was going to make Jon.
if you want to see the worst it gets, go to a local T-Ball or coach pitch game. The parents at those games amuse me to no end.
Unless you attend soccer games in europe, i dont think you have to worry about a riot.
