I wonder how many of baseballs front offices will consider litigation against some of their signees that aren't producing now. Could it be that when they were putting up the numbers, that enticed them to bring them into their organization, they were using HGH or steroids? I find it almost comical when I see teams like the Giants, who signed Barry Zito to a huge contract, sit back and watch him get shelled now. I am not saying that Zito did use but their are several instances of players signing big contracts and now not producing. With the league looking so closely at this problem one has to think there will be some drop-off in numbers over the next few years. It may be too soon for something like this to happen but it will be interesting to see if that does happen and if the teams will peruse these players, legally, for misrepresentation.
