Tiger Woods is a frontrunner

Posted Monday, April 14, 2008, at 3:14 PM

Up front and on the line. Tiger Woods is a "Frontrunner"!! He has never come from behind to win a major and yesterday showed why he hasn't. The cup gets a little smaller, as well as the greens and fairways, when your trying to make up shots. He can say he "hit it well all week" as much as he wants is that why he was slamming clubs and cursing for 4 days. He "didn't putt well". Well guess what? That's what happens when someone is 5 strokes ahead of you and playing very well. Immelman showed that there are many good golfers out there on the tour and when they get hot no one can beat them. No slam for Tiger but the next time he is over par and out of contention I can guarantee one thing, the cameras will be on him more than the leader. Good for us. We can see all the club throwing and cursing we can handle. I get all that I need, of that, playing wolf on the weekend with my playing partners. By the way. If you think I am a Tiger hater, your wrong. I actually lost 40 bucks on him because I thought he would come back on Sunday. Guess I should have checked his track record first!!

Regardless of how you feel, Tiger has done more for the game of golf than any single person. The interest level has skyrocketed from stogie-smoking retirees to an entirely younger generation.

Granted, there's a delay on TV now because of Tiger's language.. but honestly, who doesn't let a few fly on the golf course?

It would be refreshing not to see him on every shot when he is completely out of the tournament. I am a Tiger fan, but there are other people playing and they show everything that Tiger does on the course and off.

And Steve, I am not sure who you are referring to throwing clubs. I have never seen anyone you play with throw clubs!!!!!!
