Confederate soldier statue dedication (Trimble, Tenn.)

Saturday, April 28, 2012, a Confederate soldier statue dedication ceremony was held at Parks Cemetery Ridge Confederate Memorial Plaza in Trimble, Tenn. The dedication was hosted by Sons of Confederate Veterans Gen. Otho French Strahl Camp 176 of Union City.

In attendance were several distinguished guests, including Hamilton Parks and his wife, Rep. Bill Sanderson, Col. Jeffrey Forrest Brigade Commander Billy J. Foster, and guest speaker SCV CIC Kelly Barrow who is an educator, writer, and historian. Also a large number of SCV-Mechanized Cavalry troopers from the 1st Battalions Company A & E (Tennessee & Kentucky) attended the ceremony.
