Wednesday brings rain to the Fair

Wednesday evening brought a severe weather system to the Dyer County Fairgrounds, postponing pageants scheduled in the First Citizens Amphitheatre and causing patrons to take cover in the exhibit buildings and along the porch of the fair office.

Many Dyer County residents came prepared, however, donning brightly colored boots and umbrellas as they enjoyed the exhibits, food and games on the midway after the weather cleared.
