Fallen Firefighters Memorial

The fourth annual Fallen Firefighters Memorial took place in downtown Dyersburg on Friday, Oct. 5. The event honors those who put their lives on the line each day in service to the Dyer County community and Byron M. Robb, William "Bill" L. Dudley and Pratt Fletcher - the three DFD firemen who have given their lives in the line of duty in the department's long history. Begun as an Eagle Scout project in 2009, the annual event is now a community tradition.
