Haslam praises local schools

Gov. Bill Haslam visited Fifth Consolidated Elementary School on Tuesday, Oct. 16 to praise two schools in the Dyer County School System for earning 2011-2012 Reward School status.

Students, faculty and staff of both Fifth Consolidated and Trimble Elementary School were joined by city, county and state leaders for the event. The stop was Haslam's first of two in Dyer County on Tuesday.
