Governor presents $300,000 grant to Newbern

The City of Newbern gained a visit from Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam -- and a Community Development Block Grant in the amount of $300,000 -- on Tuesday afternoon. The governor stopped in the town's Municipal Courtroom to present a big check slated to purchase a new pumper-tanker truck for the Newbern Fire Department.
