Goodfellows Food Box Distribution

The Kiwanis Club held its 67th annual Dr. William F. Pierce Goodfellows Food Box Distribution Project on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 18 and 19. In the true spirit of the holidays, residents representing the Kiwanis Club, local businesses and several youth organizations joined together in the family living center at the Dyer County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, Dec. 18. There, volunteers packed 456 boxes for families in the Dyer County area who could use a little help this holiday season. With Christmas carols playing, volunteers used a conveyor table to pack the boxes efficiently. Employees with the Dyer County Highway and Dyersburg City Street departments delivered the food boxes early Wednesday morning.
