Kiwanis Library Donation

Members of the Dyersburg Kiwanis Club recently met in the community room of McIver's Grant Public Library to conduct a meeting and present a check to Library Director Dara Gonzales.

At the meeting, club members donated $30,000 to McIver's Grant Public Library. The donation completes the club's pledge of $50,000 in just two years. The club originally agreed to donate the funds over 10 years.

The funds were raised through the club's 2011 and 2012 Duck Blast fundraisers. A portion of the library's Kids' Zone will house the Kiwanis Kids' Corner in honor of the donation.
