Students at Northview and Three Oaks middle schools recently joined over 18 million people who have been touched by the message of Rachel Joy Scott, the first student killed in the Columbine High School massacre. The "Rachel's Challenge" presentation was brought to the two schools through funding from Dyer County School System's Coordinated School Health program and the 2012 Healthier Schools Challenge Award. During the presentation, local students learned just how powerful their actions, attitudes and words can be and were challenged to change the world with that power during two presentations from Daryn Jackson of the Rachel's Challenge organization.
