Amteck Business After Hours

David and Gay Carole Wagner of Amteck hosted Business After Hours on Thursday evening at their newly renovated facility on East Court Street in Dyersburg. Over 100 guests were treated to food, drinks, and an evening of networking. Tours were given of the newly remodeled facility, which was formerly a tractor sales and repair shop built in the mid-1940s. Former building owner John A. Johnston Jr. also attended the event. In remembering the building's past, a photo hangs in the hallway showing Johnston's father, John A. Johnston Sr., as the building was being built. Many of the building's original features remain prevalent in the new design, including exposed steel beams, an old safe, and a vault.
