Prayer on the Square

The prayers of local residents were offered on the lawn of the Dyer County Courthouse on Thursday, May 2. The local observance of the National Day of Prayer encouraged members of the community to bathe the heart of the community in petitions regarding Opportunity, Family, Church and the Community. The theme for the 62nd annual National Day of Prayer was "Pray for America." Activities throughout the nation were founded on scripture found in Matthew 12:21. "In His name the nations will put their hope."
