Trimble Lions Club Celebrity Waiter Night

The Trimble Lions Club had a large group of diners showing their support in making their third annual Celebrity Waiter Night at Lupo's Italian Restaurante a roaring success last month. The $1,000 raised will assist applicant approved people of Dyer County with aid for vision problems.

Ken Jones happened to be in attendance enjoying a nice meal. Ken took the stage then added his own unique sound from his harmonica and then accompanied Jimmy Anderson on several songs.

Jeff Jones, Dyer County road commissioner, walks away in amazement saying, "I can't touch that, no way". While Ken Jones played "Orange Blossom Special" on his harmonica.

Marjie Sanderson, wife of State Representative Bill Sanderson, singing a folk Italian standard she learned as a child. She performed "Caro Mio Ben" translated as "My Dear Beloved" without music or any instruments.

Trimble Lions David Butler, Jeremy Henson, accompanied by Jimmy Anderson, closed out the evening with several country songs, including a Randy Travis song "1982" and George Strait's "Amarillo By Morning".
