Sixth annual Healthy Woman Anniversary Celebration

Olympic gold medalist and Magnificent Seven leader Shannon Miller shared her journey with ovarian cancer -- and her 'never-quit' attitude -- with residents attending Dyersburg Regional Medical Center's sixth annual Healthy Woman Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 19 The event, held for the first time at First Christian Church, also featured a health fair and vendor expo, hors d'oeuvres, coffee, door prizes and a fashion show. (see related photo gallery) But it was Miller's presentation that earned the gold in the eyes of those attending. The decorated athlete also took the time to speak to residents and pose for photos after the event.
