18th annual P.H. White Jr. Memorial Rural Urban Day

Hundreds of local residents packed the Family Living Center at the Dyer County Fairgrounds last month for the 18th annual P.H. White Jr. Memorial Rural Urban Day. The annual event is hosted by the Dyersburg Noon Rotary Club and was deemed a success judging by the smiling faces and the large turnout. A traditional Southern menu of pork steak, turnip greens, black-eyed peas, and rolls were served to the guests by members of the Three Oaks Middle School Leadership Club. The Bethel University Renaissance Bluegrass Band provided the afternoon's entertainment.
