This holiday season, local residents are invited to stroll the streets of Bethlehem with an interactive Christmas experience at Newbern First Assembly of God. Touch the wares, taste the foods and visit with the shopkeepers, government officials and shepherds of Biblical times. And, just maybe, drop in on one special young couple who once took shelter in stable because there was no room for them at the inn. Visit with Mary and Joseph at the manger as they marvel at Jesus, God's Greatest Gift. 'A Night in Bethlehem' will take place for one day only at Newbern First Assembly of God, located at 900 Williams St., in Newbern. The event will take place, rain or shine in the church gym, from 3:30-7 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 2. Come and go as you like and walk the streets of Bethlehem at your own pace.
