Effie Houston, 92, of Brownsville, died Wednesday, March 12, 2003, in St. Louis. She was a homemaker.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2003, at Elam Missionary Baptist Church in Ripley with the Rev. Johnny D. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Elam Cemetery in Ripley.
