Mildred Bryant Ponder, 90, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003 at Harmony Nursing Home in Chicago.

She was a homemaker, a member of Bells Methodist Church and a former teacher at Dyersburg Beauty School.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Layman officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery in Dyersburg.

The family will receive visitors at 10 a.m. Saturday.
