James Robert Lyons

James Robert Lyons, 63, of Obion, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City . He was a retired employee of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.

Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion. Burial was in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Obion.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Edwards Lyons of Obion; three sons, Richard Lyons of Dyersburg and Bobby Lyons and Donnie Lyons, both of Dyer; his father, McDonald Lyons of Jackson; two sisters, Sue Johnson of Jackson and Mary Ann Jacobs of Memphis; a brother, Bill Lyons of Florence, Ala.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
