George O. Hood

George O. Hood, 75, of Chesterfield County, Va., died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002.

He was a retired sergeant first class from the U.S. Army.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bliley Funeral Home Chippenham Chapel in Richmond, Va. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Monday.

Survivors include a son, Mark James Hood and wife Cheryl; two sisters, Dolly Birholtz and Earline Brooks; three brothers, Clifford Hood, Welton Hood and Billy Hood; and a grandson, James Raleigh Hood.
