He was a retired farmer and janitor, a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4862 in Union City and a member of Graves Chapel Church of God.
Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at White-Mahon Funeral Home in Troy with Sister Rose Huey officiating. Burial will be in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy.
The family will receive visitors 5-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
He leaves five daughters, R. Faye Cashion of Dyersburg, Ronda Wyrick of Newbern, Ritta Dameron of Dyersburg, Remonia Littles of Friendship and Recia Heron of McKenzie; three sons, Randall Klutts of Laurel, Md., Rickey Klutts of Sharon and Ronnie Klutts of Dyersburg; two sisters, Edith Ragsdale of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Katherine Gammons of Troy; a brother, Lloyd Klutts of Troy; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Holland Klutts and Flora Elizabeth Klutts; his wife, Ruby Lee Curtis Klutts; a son, Robert O'Neal Klutts; and a grandchild, Robert Michael Cashion.
Pallbearers will be David French, Duane Zechmann, Matthew Cashion, Todd Theilacker, Brandon Cashion and Becky Cashion. Honorary pallbearer will be Travis Klutts.
