Helen D. Rogers

Helen D. Rogers, 64, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, August 8, 2002 at her residence.

She was a homemaker and a member of Springhill Baptist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Springhill Baptist Church with the Rev. James Branscum officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at 5 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Carney L. Rogers of Dyersburg; two daughters, Debbie Sharp and husband, Frankie of Ridgely and Brenda Elliott and husband, Clark of Brentwood; a son, Kenney Rogers and wife, Barbara of Dyersburg; two sisters, Elizabeth Neible of Rocky Mount, Mo. and Vera Evans of Harrisburg, Ill.; two brothers, Joe Dorch of Muddy, Ill. and George Dorch of Manhattan, Ill.; 11 grandchildren, Jonathan and Holly Rogers, Cynthia Luttrell, Jeremy Rogers, Misty and Gary Spicer, Stephanie Sharp, Megan Sharp, Franklin Sharp, Erikka Elliott, Allison Elliott, Grace Ann Elliott and Brooke Elliott; and three great-grandchildren; Emma Rogers, Tyler Spcier and Calin Spicer . Pallbearers will be Leslie "Brown" Nale, Raymond Kelley, Stoy Slaughter, Jerry Willis, Robert Turnbow and Barret Deal. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Heathcott, Jimmy Scott, Allen Whitson, Tony Brimm and Scott Sewell.
