Charles H. 'Uncle Charlie" Yarbro

Charles H. 'Uncle Charlie" Yarbro, 78, of Dyersburg, died Monday, July 7, 2003 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Care. He was the city editor for the State Gazette for 20 years, received a BA in journalism from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo., a member of ATO Fraternity, an active Democratic Party and was a Methodist. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Yarbro Family Cemetery in Decaturville with Brother Jim Pilcher officiating. The family will receive visitors 5-9 p.m. Thursday at J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home.
