Virgil Tirey

Virgil Tirey, 78, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, May 31, 2003, at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis. He was a retired mechanic, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of First United Pentecostal Church, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Michael McClenney and the Rev. Tommy Clark officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home in Dyersburg is in charge of arrangements.
