Rosie May McCaig

Rosie May McCaig, 73, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home elder Johnny Harris officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery in the Bruceville Community.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Lee McCaig of Dyersburg; three daughters, Linda Anderson and Mary Tibbs, both of Dyersburg and Stella McCaig of Nashville; four sons, Jimmy McCaig of Rutherford, Danny McCaig and George McCaig, both of Dyersburg and Dennis McCaig of RoEllen; a sister, Birdie Featherston of Newbern; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde "Pap" and Mary Lee Eaton Davis.

Pallbearers will be Scottie McCaig, Mitchell Tibbs, Chris Tibbs, Bobby McCaig, Jimmy McCaig and Steven McCaig. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Tibbs, Timmy McCaig and Garland Tibbs.
