Bessie A. Childress, 74, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003 at her residence.

She was a homemaker, a member of First Christian Church, a member of the Dyersburg-Dyer County Senior Citizens Group and a former craft teacher for the Dyer County Office on Aging.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
