Maxine Thurmond Clayton

Maxine Thurmond Clayton, 72, of Tupelo, Miss., formerly of Dyersburg, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003 at Cedars Nursing Home in Tupelo, Miss.

She was a retired telephone operator and a Baptist.

Graveside services will be today at 2 p.m. at Thurmond Cemetery in Halls with Elder Ed Carter officiating. Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home in Covington is in charge of arrangements.
