Family and friends remember she was a "woman well ahead of her time as the corporate officer of a successful business long before most women had careers." She worked for Edenton Lamb Company. Brigham also devoted a large portion of her adult life to the loving care of her mother and several elderly aunts. She always enjoyed nature, making many bird-watching trips to the area around Reelfoot Lake. A member of First United Methodist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. W. Nip Brigham.
Graveside services will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg at 11 a.m. on Monday. The Rev. Wade Cox will officiate. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
