James Harold Riggins

James Harold Riggins, 71, of Yorkville, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004 at Gibson General Hospital in Trenton.

He was born Sept. 6, 1932 in Glasgow, Mo., to the late John and Alberta Riggins. He spent most of his childhood and early adult life in Dyer County. He has lived in Yorkville for the last 42 years where he was self-employed. He served both Gibson County and the City of Yorkville for many years in the area of law enforcement.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 8 at Yorkville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at 2:30 p.m. with the service following at 3 p.m.
