Chester Alvin "Bear" Davis, 58, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004 at his residence.

He was a retired mechanic for Patterson Brothers.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
