Alice Evelyn 'Momma Alice' Babbitt

Alice Evelyn "Momma Alice" Babbitt, 86, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004 at Wesley of Dyersburg.

She was a retired licensed practical nurse for Parkview Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital in Hammond, Ill., and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Greek Catholic Union, Dyersburg Moose Lodge Women's Auxiliary, VFW and the American Showman's Club.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Father Elbert Callis and the Rev. Lynn King officiating.

The family will receive visitors Friday from 5:30-9 p.m. at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
