He was retired employee of Ermco and a restaurant owner, a member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was highly decorated for his service. He earned four Silver Stars in the Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Brother Glenn Burse officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
