Betty Jean King

Betty Jean King, 70, of Newbern died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at her residence.

Born in Blytheville, Ark., in 1933, she was a homemaker.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, May 24, at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ, where she was a member, with burial to follow in Yorkville Cemetery in Yorkville. The Rev. Jerry Stafford will officiate.

Visitation is scheduled between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. today. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
