James 'Buddy' Ray

James "Buddy" Ray, 63, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.

He retired after 25 years at Colonial Rubber DPP and was a member of Independent Free Holiness Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Independent Free Holiness Church with Brother Calvin Smith and Brother Tommy Roper officiating. Burial will be in Sorrells Chapel Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-9 p.m. today and at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
