John Lewis Walley, 66, of Bassett, Ark., died Sunday, July 4, 2004, at his residence.

He was a retired employee of Home Oil Company.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Ridgely chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Brother H.R. Northcutt officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Hornbeak.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-9 p.m. today at the chapel.
