James Thomas Finch, 83, of Dyersburg, formerly of Nashville, died Monday, July 19, 2004, at West Tennessee Transitional Care Unit in Jackson.

He was a retired schoolteacher with the Davidson County School System and a Methodist. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sunnyside Cemetery in Kenton with Dennis Watts officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
