Annie Mae Wood

Annie Mae Wood, 98, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Home.

She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Brother Joe Naylor officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Ruth Stephens of Dyersburg and Winnie Jane Adkins of Wanatah, Ind.; two sons, Max Wood of Dyersburg and Jack Wood of Jackson; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A.A. Wood; a daughter, Barbara Ann Ware; two sons, William T. Wood and Joe Frank Wood; two sisters, Louise Walker and Doris Murley; and three brothers, Doyle Jackson, Bill Jackson and Everette Jackson.

Pallbearers will be Rob Wood, Tim Ware, Tommy Wood, David Wood, Joe Wood, Jackie Wood, Randy Stephens and Ted Woods.

The family requests that any memorials be directed to Southside Baptist Church.
