William Alf Rivers

William Alf Rivers, 85, of Jackson, formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was retired from South Central Bell and a member of Maleseus United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the south chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
