Roy Hammonds

Roy Hammonds, 88, of Trimble, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004 at Obion County Nursing Home in Union City.

He was a former employee of Hale-Smith Ford Dealership in Obion and John Deere-Newbern Implement in Newbern, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of Trimble First Baptist Church, Lion's Club, and former member of Trimble American Legion.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with Dr. William Oakley officiating. Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
