Ira E. Bishop

Ira E. Bishop, 92, of Alexandria, La., died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004 at Regency House.

He was a retired Air Force major, serving in World War II and the Korean War. He served in the Army, the Army Air Corps and the United States Air Force for 30 years. He was a member of Retired Officers Association and the American Legion and a member of St. James Episcopal Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at St. James Episcopal Church in Alexandria, La. Burial will be in National Cemetery in Pineville. John Kramer & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
