Holice O. Gilliland Sr.

Holice O. Gilliland Sr., 85, of Halls, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

He was a retired merchant and electrician, a World War II veteran of the Battle of the Bulge, a Mason of York Rites, a member of VFW, American Legion (Halls Post), First United Methodist Church, and taught refrigeration at Veterans Vocational School in Newbern.

Services were held Saturday at Halls Funeral Home. Burial was in Providence Cemetery near Bells.
