Tom A. Harness

Tom A. Harness, 92, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, March 12, 2005 at the Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was a retired men's clothing salesman, a member of First United Methodist Church and the Vern Forcum Sunday School Class. He taught adult Sunday school classes at Bryant's Chapel Methodist Church and Dyersburg First United Methodist Church for over 40 years. He was a Red Coat Volunteer for 15 years at the Dyersburg hospital and a former Tennessee National Guard member.

Services will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Dr. Phillip Cook and the Rev. Wade Cox will officiate.
